In March of 2024 I was able to join a basket workshop put on by Cherokee Community of Puget Sound with Cherokee National Treasure Barbara Adair. Her teaching and guidance in the class inspired me to continue working in the medium. I then followed some videos with Cherokee National Treasure Mike Dart to learn the double wall technique. I am grateful to them for their continued work, inspiration, and dedication to teach and share their knowledge.
